LSPT 204 - Legal Research and Writing

A survey of the basic concepts behind legal research and beginning legal writing. this course covers the requisite knowledge and proficiencies needed to develop strong research and writing skills, along with learning more advanced legal citation techniques. Curriculum is designed to provide learners with the basic tools utilize in research by using a series of sequenced, interrelated exercises that introduce the research process in a step-by-step manner. Learners will develop stronger research and analytical skills needed to correctly frame legal issues and positions and effectively communicate findings.
