LSPT 100 - Introduction to Law

A survey course that provides an overview of laws and the American legal system. Course topics include exploring different types of jurisdiction, reviewing major practice areas of law (e.g., constitutional law, principal/agency law, family law, administrative law, business organizations, and property law), examining the state-federal court systems, learning basic legal citation, and developing investigative skills needed to finding the law.
