LGL 219 - Debtor-Creditor Law & Bankruptcy

This course provides the learner with a comprehensive understanding of debtor/credit law and how it relates to bankruptcy. Student will examine related laws using realistic case-studies that explore how debit is created and collected preparatory to filing bankruptcy. The course evolves from understanding the formation of debt, to exploring different bankruptcy options available to debtors, to learning how bankruptcy cases are adjudicated and closed upon order of discharge.
