LSPT 208 - Family Law

3 Credits

This course presents fundamental concepts of family law and other domestic relations topics, including formal and informal marriages, divorce, the parent-child relationship, in addition to learning about the differences between community and separate property, the classification of property, and the impact of such classification. Students will also become acquainted with the different legal documents used in the practice of family law. LSPT 103

Prerequisites: Satisfactory completion of LSPT 100 and LSPT 103 required.
