CNT 170 - Networking 1 3 Credits
This course provides instruction in fundamentals of computer networking, OSI model, devices, standards and protocols, TCP/IP, Subnetting and Boolean math, and design. Students will obtain the knowledge and skills needed to design, implement, and maintain networks including topologies, switching, and routing in a hands-on environment.
Prerequisites: CNT 114 and a GEM 3 course with a grade of C- or higher.
