The College of Eastern Idaho Student Life Department believes that student clubs and organizations are an integral part of the college experience. Student leadership groups, clubs and organizations have the ability to create lasting connections and provide opportunities to be active and involved in campus life.
CEI Student Senate
The Student Senate is comprised of student body officers and representatives from a variety of academic programs. The Student Senate is the student’s voice in the college’s development and leadership. CEI Student Senate is advised by the Senior Coordinator for Student Life and Event Planning. Students interested in participating in Student Senate are encouraged to reach out to the Senior Coordinator for Student Life and Event Planning.
CEI Student Ambassadors
The Student Ambassadors serve as leaders and role models on campus who represent the institution to prospective students and the community. The Student Ambassadors work with the Admissions team to visit high schools, attend community events, and provide campus tours. Students interested in participating in this program are encouraged to reach out to the CEI Admissions team.
Student Clubs and Organizations
CEI Student Life offers a variety of clubs and organizations to enhance the learning experience. Clubs are student-led organizations that cover a broad scope of interests and can create opportunities for competitive activities with students from other post-secondary institutions.
College of Eastern Idaho welcomes your ideas to expand/create clubs and organizations. CEI student clubs are open to all currently enrolled CEI students. The CEI Student Life office is available to assist with information on current clubs or help in the process of forming a new club. Questions regarding student clubs, organizations, and leadership opportunities can be addressed to the Senior Coordinator for Student Life and Event Planning at student.life@cei.edu.
Student Organization Fundraising Policy
Fundraising guidelines are found in the Student Club Handbook and Procedure Manual and are updated annually. The contact for questions about fundraising and student clubs is the Senior Coordinator for Student Life and Event Planning.
