This course explores fundamental concepts in microeconomics and macroeconomics, examining their impact on individuals and society. Topics include inflation, unemployment, government spending, taxation, wages, economic inequality, retirement, welfare, education, business profits, poverty, environmental concerns, and overall quality of life. Current economic issues and their broader social implications will be analyzed and discussed. This course may not be taken if both ECON 201 and ECON 202 have been taken.
