DH 280 - Practice Management and Board Review

This course provides a study of principles and procedures related to management of the dental practice; the philosophy of dental practice and the business of dentistry. Emphasis is placed on dental jurisprudence and ethical issues, and applied interpersonal communication both written and oral. Students will explore the responsibilities involved in hygienist/patient and employer relationships. This course is intended for the Dental Hygiene students who will be preparing to take the National Board Examination and to build exam experience and confidence.
