Introduction into basic wills, trusts and probate practices. Topics covered include reviewing various methods of testamentary and non-testamentary distribution, identifying applicable state statutes and rules, understanding how probate and non-probate property is handled, and testate/intestate succession practices. Focus is given to drafting wills and will-related documents that include advance directives, powers of attorney, trusts, estate administration actions.
