MATH 143 - Precalculus I: Algebra

GEM Stamped: GEM 3: Mathematical Ways Of Knowing

3 Credits

This course introduces functions and their graphs. Function notation, domain, range, composition, and inverses are covered. In addition, basic transformations of graphs as well as graphs of absolute value, quadratic, polynomial, radical, exponential, and logarithmic functions are included.  May be taken concurrently with MATH 144 .

Prerequisites: MATH 108  or acceptable placement score
Concurrent: MATH 144
