ARN 130 - Advanced Foundations of Nursing Practice

2 Credits

This course is a continuation of ARN 100  Foundations of Nursing Practice and expands students’ knowledge on advanced concepts of nursing. Didactic instruction focuses on understanding of advanced assessment, IV medications, blood administration, central lines, and invasive monitoring. Focus is on utilizing and applying the nursing process, critical thinking, and nursing judgment to provide safe, competent care to patients.
